Advait Energy Transitions Limited (formerly Advait Infratech Limited) has announced it has bagged an order from state-run Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL).

The order relates to the ERS package ERS-II, covering the procurement of Emergency Restoration Systems (ERS) for 400kV transmission lines, valued at ₹87.29 crore (inclusive of taxes).
Awarded on October 6, the project will be implemented over an 18-month period, according to the official statement.
Through this project, the company aims at building a resilient national grid thereby strengthening India’s high-voltage transmission network.
According to the statement, Advait’s ERS solutions are designed to maintain power transmission during tower failures or other network disruptions.
Developed under the Make in India initiative and built to international standards, the modular systems can be deployed across voltage levels from 33kV to 800kV.
They are intended to reduce downtime and operational losses during emergencies, offering utilities with scalable and cost-effective restoration capabilities.
The company’s ERS technology, which features modular designs and rapid response kits, is already in use in several regions worldwide.
Commenting on the development, Founder and Managing Director of Advait Energy Transitions Limited, Shalin Sheth said: “We are delighted to receive this important order from PGCIL, which reflects the growing confidence in our solutions.”
He added further, “The scale of this project highlights how essential ERS systems have become for the stability of India’s transmission network. At Advait, we remain focused on building dependable, Make-in-India systems that can respond quickly to challenges on the grid and help keep power flowing without interruption.”
The company, established in 2009 and headquartered in Ahmedabad, spans the manufacturing and supply of Stringing Tools, ACS Wires, OPGW Cables, Emergency Restoration Systems (ERS), Optical Fibre Cables, and a broad range of insulators.
Additionally, Advait has expanded into renewable and emerging energy technologies, developing projects in Green Hydrogen, supported by a planned 300 MW manufacturing capacity under the Government’s Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme, as well as Battery Energy Storage Systems (50 MW) and Solar Power integration exceeding 300 MW.
Through this project, Advait plans to further contribute to India’s efforts to improve grid reliability and strengthen critical transmission infrastructure.
