Believing the global energy transition is still in its early stages, he sees a unique opportunity for young leaders to create companies inherently aligned with sustainability. Under his leadership, Advait Greenergy is expanding its presence in the renewable and green energy ecosystem. In this interview with Enersider, Kundalia shares the company’s growth plans and his vision for contributing to India’s energy transition.

With over 24 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, Srivastava has held senior leadership roles at GAIL (India) Limited, GAIL Gas Limited, and the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board. His extensive experience across gas transmission, city gas distribution, and regulatory frameworks places him in a strong position to steer VGL through the next phase of growth and strengthen its role in India’s evolving energy landscape.

Staring at the closure of his ethanol plant in Bihar due to low off-take, Ajay Singh, Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Plus Ethanol, made an emotional appeal in a video posted on YouTube.

On February 24, 2026, the Board of Directors at Suzlon Energy decided to appoint Ajay Kapur as the Group Chief Executive Officer, with immediate effect. He replaced J P Chalasani, who has been elevated as a member of the Group Executive Council. At Suzlon, Ajay reports to the Chairman & Managing Director, Vinod Tanti.

In February, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta unveiled an ambitious underground wiring plan for the capital’s oldest and busiest marketplace, Chandni Chowk. The plan aims to remove more than 50 kilometres of hazardous overhead cables in the densely populated area, with an investment of around Rs 160 crore.

In a world grappling with depleting reservoirs of fossil fuel and living under the imminent threat of a global scale war fighting over those very finite resources, a shift towards renewable sources of energy is no longer an alternative; it is a necessity.

Deepak Gupta will succeed Sandeep Kumar Gupta as the next Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of GAIL India Ltd following the latter’s superannuation on February 28. Gupta is currently serving as Director (Projects) at GAIL India.
