Vivek Singla has been appointed as the Managing Director and the Chief Executive Officer of Power Exchange India Limited.

He was appointed to the position by PXIL on November 10, 2025, succeeding Satyajit Ganguly who had served in the role from June 2023.
Singla brings with him over 35 years of diverse leadership experience across the power sector value chain spanning generation, transmission, distribution, trading, renewables and green technologies.
He has held senior leadership roles with ReNew Power, Adani Energy Solutions, Tata Power Group and BSES Ltd., where he led large scale businesses, strategic growth initiatives, and organised transformational projects.
An alumnus of Delhi Institute of Technology, FMS, Delhi University and ISB, Hyderabad, Singla is recognised for his commercial acumen and ability to build and scale new age-energy ventures.
Power Exchange India Limited (PXIL), established in 2008 as India’s first institutionally promoted power exchange, provides a platform for electricity trading aimed at enhancing transparency and efficiency in the Indian power market, while contributing to sustainable growth.
