KPI Green Energy Ltd Commissions 92.4 MW Wind Power Project in Gujarat

KPI Green Energy Ltd in a regulatory filing said it has successfully completed a 92.4 MW wind power project for Ayana Renewable Power Four at Nakhatrana in Gujarat’s Bhuj district.

The project comprises 28 wind turbine generators, as per the filing.

The company executed the project on a turnkey basis, completing all works under its scope, including Balance of Plant (BOP), Power Substation (PSS), Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission line, and erection and installation of the WTGs.

The project has received the requisite approval from the Central Electricity Authority (CEA), it added.

With the commissioning of the project, the company has further strengthened its presence in the renewable energy segment, contributing to India’s clean energy transition and enhancing the country’s renewable power capacity.

Additionally, last month, the company had commenced power supply from its 200 MW clean energy project in Gujarat.

The project has successfully achieved grid synchronisation, and initial power injection into the state grid has commenced, the company said in an exchange filing.

KPI Green Energy announced the commencement of power generation and supply from its 200 MW AC/240 MW DC grid-connected solar power project awarded by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam through a competitive bidding process.

KPI Green Energy Limited, is the solar and hybrid vertical of KP Group. It is a Gujarat based solar and hybrid power generating company. Incorporated in February, 2008, the company is majorly focused on providing solar and hybrid power through different Business verticals. 

The Company develops, builds, owns, operates and maintains solar and hybrid power plants through as an Independent Power Producer (IPP) and as service provider to Captive Power Producer (CPP) under the brand name of ‘Solarism’.
