KPI Green Energy has bagged three letters of award from state-owned SJVN for projects worth Rs 696.50 crore.

The project encompasses a full-scope EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) package followed by a long-term operation & maintenance (O&M) contract, KPI Green Energy said in a regulatory filing.
“…KPI Green Energy Limited has received three distinct Letters of Award (LOAs) from SJVN Limited (a Government of India enterprise) for a major 200 MW (AC) solar power project at the GIPCL Renewable Energy Park, Khavda, Gujarat,” it said.
Additionally in September, the company had secured a sanction of Rs 3,200 crore finance facility from State Bank of India for its solar and hybrid independent power producer projects, aggregating over 1 GWp in Gujarat.
These sanctioned facilities are expected to support two strategically significant renewable projects – a 250 MW (AC)/ 350 MWp (DC) solar power project and a 370 MW hybrid power project, comprising 557 MWp and 124.20 MW solar and wind portion respectively, according to a company statement.
The company secured Rs 3,200-crore sanction from State Bank of India (PF&SBU), comprising both fund-based and non-fund-based facilities, to part-finance the development of its 250 MW solar project and 370 MW hybrid project in Gujarat, together aggregating over 1 GWp of the company’s Independent Power Producer (IPP) portfolio, the statement said.
KPI Green Energy Limited, is the solar and hybrid vertical of KP Group. It is a Gujarat based solar and hybrid power generating company. Incorporated in February, 2008, the company is majorly focused on providing solar and hybrid power through different Business verticals. The company develops, builds, owns, operates and maintains solar and hybrid power plants through as an Independent Power Producer (IPP) and as service provider to Captive Power Producer (CPP) under the brand name of ‘Solarism’.
