Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) on Wednesday said it has inked a pact for supply of 60 MW of green energy to textile manufacturer RSWM Ltd‘s multiple plant locations.

Under the agreement, AESL will manage the green power value chain for RSWM’s additional energy requirements. RSWM, a flagship company of LNJ Bhilwara Group, has invested ₹260 crore under the Group Captive Scheme with a renewable generation company for the supply of 31.53 crore units of green power annually to its manufacturing units across Rajasthan.
With this initiative, the share of renewable energy in RSWM’s total energy use is expected to rise from 33% to about 70% in the coming years.
Commenting on the development, Chairman, Managing Director and CEO, RSWM Ltd, Riju Jhunjhunwala said, “This achievement underscores our long-term vision to align growth with sustainability and reinforce our position as a forward-looking industrial leader.”
He further added, “By sourcing 70% of our total energy requirement from renewable sources-well above the national average of India’s clean energy mix i.e. 31% – RSWM continues to set industry benchmarks in responsible energy transition.”
Additionally, CEO, Adani Energy, Kandarp Patel stated, “We are delighted to partner with RSWM on this landmark initiative that demonstrates how sustainability is becoming integral to businesses.

Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) headquartered at Ahmedabad in Gujarat, has 19,200 ckm of transmission lines and around 38,600 MVA of transformation capacity under operation.
In addition, over 7,400 ckm of transmission line and around 54,600 MVA transformation capacity is in the execution pipeline.
Presently, the company has a portfolio of more than 26,600 ckm of transmission line and 93,200 MVA transformation capacity.
