Abani Kant Jha Appointed Chairman of ASSOCHAM CFO Council

Abani Kant Jha, Group Chief Financial Officer of Saatvik Green Energy Limited, has been appointed Chairman of the CFO Council of ASSOCHAM, an official statement said. 

As Chairman of the ASSOCHAM CFO Council, he will lead engagement among senior finance leaders across industries, focusing on themes such as corporate governance, risk management, regulatory developments, capital allocation, and long-term value creation. 

His role will involve shaping the Council’s agenda, fostering high-quality industry dialogue, and contributing actionable recommendations to support India’s evolving business environment.

Jha brings over three decades of experience across finance, strategy, and operations. In his current role at Saatvik Green Energy Limited, he has been instrumental in strengthening financial discipline, supporting scale and growth initiatives, and guiding the company through key phases of its expansion in India’s renewable energy sector.

Commenting on his appointment, Abani Kant Jha said, “It is a privilege to take on this responsibility at ASSOCHAM. The CFO’s role today is increasingly strategic, spanning governance, resilience, and sustainable growth. I look forward to collaborating with fellow finance leaders to contribute meaningfully to industry and policy discussions.”

Founded in 2015, Saatvik Green Energy Limited is a leading Indian renewable energy company offering end-to-end solar solutions across manufacturing and deployment. The company serves utility-scale, commercial, residential, and agricultural segments, supporting India’s transition towards a sustainable and energy-secure future.

The Company operates a 4.8 GW module manufacturing facility in Ambala, Haryana. Saatvik is also developing a greenfield integrated facility in Odisha with 4 GW module and 4.8 GW solar cell manufacturing capacity, positioning the company as a multi-location, vertically integrated player at the core of India’s renewable energy build-out.
