Ganesh Green Bharat Limited (GGBL), a renewable energy and infrastructure company, has secured a 1,000 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) EPC project order from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), strengthening its position in India’s growing energy storage sector.
The company said, “the Battery Energy Storage System for the project will be supplied by Ganesh Green Bharat Ltd.” highlighting its capabilities in manufacturing, engineering, procurement and project execution.
The order comes during a period of strong business growth for the company. Ganesh Green Ltd. reported revenue of ₹1,064.26 crore in FY26 compared with ₹321.76 crore in FY25. Its Profit After Tax (PAT) rose to ₹75.18 crore from ₹30.22 crore during the same period.
The company also said it currently has an order book of around ₹2,212 crore, providing visibility for future growth and reflecting continued confidence in its capabilities.

Battery Energy Storage Systems are becoming important for integrating renewable energy into the power grid.
