Jio-bp has announced the opening of an integrated mobility hub at Devanahalli, Bengaluru, which includes 28 electric vehicle (EV) charging points within a fuel retail outlet. The site combines facilities for petrol, diesel, CNG, and EV charging, along with retail and café services.

Operating under the brand ‘Jio-bp’, Reliance BP Mobility Limited (RBML) is an Indian fuels and mobility joint venture between Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and bp.

The Devanahalli outlet features DC chargers capable of delivering up to 360 kW across 28 charging points. This facility, according to the official statement, is aimed at providing convenience to both private and commercial users.

Commenting on the launch, Jio-bp Chairman Sarthak Behuria said, “The Devanahalli Mobility Station represents our vision for the future of integrated mobility in India.”, “By bringing advanced EV charging technology into our existing retail ecosystem, we are improving accessibility and convenience for customers while supporting India’s transition to low-carbon transport.”

Located near Kempegowda International Airport, the site is designed to serve a range of customers, including EV owners and fleet operators, offering fast charging options along with amenities such as a café and retail space.

According to Jio-bp, the mobility hub is built with scalable infrastructure that can support a variety of EV models as adoption continues to grow in India.

The company stated further that the initiative is a part of its efforts to expand sustainable mobility solutions and develop customer-focused infrastructure.

The company currently operates close to 7,000 charging points across approximately 1,000 locations, including 32 hubs in major cities. Many of these sites are equipped with chargers of up to 480 kW.
